This website is popular worldwide and we use it regularly at Organise Internet. IStockphoto claims to be "the world's fastest growing collection of original, independent, royalty-free images". The standard of many of the images are excellent and they can be bought for as little as a dollar depending on the size you need. Membership is free and you can purchase credits that start out at 10 credits for US$10 and decreases to 625 credits for US$500. In general, you can download a wide variety of images or flash files for one credit. They also offer one free photo download per week.
