The girls were able to experience the latest technology in a hands on environment in the "demo zone" area of the expo. There were fantastic prizes given out on the day, and Organise Internet were overwhelmed with the response to our Design a Website competition. This was won by a year 9 student from Berkely Vale High.
There were also guest speakers at the event, who highlighted the need for more Women in IT and shared their experiences and inspiration. There was even a local guest speaker from Organise Internet!
Overall it was a great day, throughout which the girls were able to find out about the exciting carer paths in ICT, meet awesome role models and explore exciting new technologies.
