We at Organise Internet hope you all enjoyed a pleasant ANZAC Day and hope you had some time off to reflect and relax!
Welcome back
A big welcome back to our silent team member David Abrahams who has just returned from an extensive environmental IT research tour of Europe and Japan. Keep an ear out for 'Digital Dave' on local ABC Radio Stations, and an eye out at business and community functions. David is reinvigorating our marketing and sales pushes here at OI, so you'll probably be seeing more of us around. Speaking of which...
Call for partners.
We have had great success with partner relationships and are currently looking for even more!
Developers, you may be or know a lonely php/mysql developer who would like to work with a fun team, drop us an email. Designers, know one or are one? We have a successful model for you, so that you can concentrate on what you're good at and we take the messy coding, training, support stuff that we love. Territory and channel sales people, you are also of interest to us right now. We have some particularly interesting opportunities in this area of our business at present.
If you're interested in talking to us about partnering simply email partners@organise.net.au and we'll arrange a time to talk.
Tech Girls.
Organise Internet will be supporting the Tech Girls Day for secondary school students. We're a firm believer in advancing the role of women in IT. It's a great industry, flexible and potentially a lot of fun. OI has actively driven a diverse workforce, where women average over 50% of our work force (the industry average in Australia is less than 20%). This is really one of the secrets to our surviving successes. One of our team members, Leigh, will be speaking on the day to the young women and we'll have a stand to show the students what we do. If you would like to support this really great initiative in any way, ring Debbie Thompson at Youth Connections on 43248600 or email: debbie@youthconnections.com.au See http://www.techgirls.org.au/
Have an enjoyable May. The flowers may be blooming in the Northern Hemisphere, but our soft autumn sun of late is hard to beat. OI Team
